Dick Turpin and his merry band of weirdos have more adventures ahead. Apple TV+ has renewed The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin for a second season, which will reportedly feature “a host of great British comedy talent,” according to Deadline.
The series premiered in March of this year; The AV Club called it “Our Flag Means Death’s long-lost twin.” Noel Fielding (The Mighty Boosh) stars as Dick Turpin, who—well, let’s let the synopsis explain:
The series was created by Claire Downes, Ian Jarvis, and Stuart Lane, who also all co-created The Job Lot. Fielding, Richard Naylor (Red Dwarf), and Jon Brittain (The Crown) write the show alongside the creators. Along with Fielding and Bonneville, the first season’s cast included Duayne Boachie, Ellie White, Marc Wootton, Asim Chaudry, and Mark Heap.
There’s no word on when the second season will arrive, but season one is available for your viewing pleasure on Apple TV+.
